Hume reports on the work of Marien Lewis and the state of video technology and its evolution as an art form. Marien Lewis has compiled the largest collection of video work by artists ever shown in Canada - the showcase is titled Video Video. She argues that video is entering the mainstream by gaining corporate sponsorship and will rival film in quality, shortly. Video Video includes interesting works such as Gary Cowvein, by Bill Viola, as well as a piece by Shirley Clarke.
