This article discusses the reasons behind John Greyson's intentions with his film Urinal (1988). After giving a brief context into the history of homosexual strife in America/ Canada, the article goes on to give a pleasant description of the film. In the film, many different artists from different time periods come together to work out issues concerning state control and homogenized idealism.
