This article is a spotlight on Toronto writer, artist and filmmaker Bruce LaBruce. Otto is LaBruce's sixth feature film that utilizes narrative ideas and thematic obsessions from LaBruce's previous films to tell the story of a lost boy who may or may not be a zombie. After describing Otto, Davies launches into a retrospective of LaBruce's work siting his films spanning two decades. This article dicusses the changing cultural landscape of the homoecore scene, and LaBruce' s evolved personal approach.
