An article by Teresa Marshall and Craig Berggold, addressing the 1989 Mayworks festival, which took part in Toronto and Vancouver. In the article, the two writters put emphasis on the need for greater social functioning within the art world. Along with their writing, an array of photo's displaying different artists performing during festival is presented, as well as a selection of writings by different artists and events coordinators that are also union workers. The names of these people are: Phil Vernon, Jim Pare, Jean Claude Basque, Irene Anderson, Catherine Macleod, Glen Richards, and Don Monet.
