This article reports on the second stop in a workshop series, entitled “Ten Cities Public Television Workshops in Video Cassette Systems,” taking place in Rochester, N.Y. Staff members of Global Village Video Resource Center and WXXI, the public television station in Rochester, met to discuss technical issues, funding, distribution, and to view presentations by independent tapemakers. Though the two groups invariably have difference expectations, writer Martha Gever expresses hope for mutually beneficial results.
