POV, Summer 2009, no. 74, pp. 39 - 41
In this article Maurie Aliof writes about the NFB's retrospective of Alana Obomsawin. A well seasoned film maker, Obomsawin films are a heartfelt portrait of First Nation Peoples. In this article, Aliof writes about the films shown but also includes Obomwin's quotes and comments on her work. Surrprsingly, her opinions sometimes are radically different from the films themselves Overall the piece is a fair portrait of Obomsawin's Canadian life work.
