"in ten sity" is a multi-camera live video installation, broadcasting (in a gallery setting) and documenting a performance carried out by Wong in a constructed 8'x8' space. The performance reflects its title in Wong's shocking physical exertion, the soundtrack of the performance, tensions between performer and viewer, and other ideas related to "movement, emotion, behaviour" driving Wong from experience and additional popular cultural sources. "in ten sity" made up part of Wong's solo exhibition of works in video at the Vancouver Art Gallery in December 1978.
