Videodance:Fine Fusions
The Washington Post, Aug. 14, 1989
This article reviews a selection of three videodances, collaborations between dancers and videographers, airing on public TV. The works are intended as “modern translations of dance motifs from ethically diverse cultures: American Indian, Afro-Brazilian, and Japanese American.” Reviewer Alan Kreigsman finds all three pieces splendidly successful, the first time such collaboration has been so beautifully realized.
