Video at VSW: a workshop with John Randolph Carter

This article briefly discusses a series of Visual Studies Workshops in 1974 that were visited by video artist, printmaker, and designer, John Randolph Carter. For most of the students, it was their first contact with video hardware and they were encouraged to experiment. Carter himself has exhibited video work at the Bronx Museum of Art and served as a consultant for ABC television.
