Pro-Palestinian letter has uncovered debate
The Toronto Star, Sept. 9, 2009
While briefly questioning the genuineness of Greyson's decision to withdraw his film from TIFF, Antonia Zerbisias notes the irony in the opposition's charge of Greyson's pro-Palestinian letter as an attack on freedom of expression. She believes that his letter on the contrary has opened debates long covered under the dark intimations of anti-Semitism. Zerbisias acknowledges the importance of open discussions on such matters as Brand Israel and the Canadian government involvement in resettling Russian Jews in Israel on the rubble of destroyed Arab towns.
