Gregory Burke speaks with Candice Brietz in anticpation of her fall 2009 exhibition at The Power Plant. In this interview, Breitz's speaks to the sturcture of her video works, shifting the "I" and "you", subject and object, and the nature of the performer within the works. Brietz's work borrows heavily from popular culture, the objectification of celebrity, and stereotypes of visual conventions in film.
