Winged Migration
documentaryfilms.net, 2004
A review of Jacques Perrin's Winged Migration by David Loftus. Filmed on locations from all over the world over the course of four years and depicting various kinds of birds, Winged Migration makes an unforgettable picture. Loftus argues that the little use of CGI sequences, some interventions in filmed environments, and a few staged scenes with trained birds do not take away Winged Migration's status as a documentary.
