A conversation on electronics and Black TV

by Aldo Tambellini, Charles Bruner and John San Pietro

artscanada, Apr. 1968, v. 25, no. 1, pp. 35-36

Stream-of-consciousness statements by the four panelists regarding the changing face of video and television and the future of media and communication. They predict a future that will be based on electronic interactions rather than physical communication, holograms, and a society immersed in screens, where the triumph of television is a sign of man's control over energy and the image. The meeting of artist and engineer is important for Tambellini, who used disorienting technical methods to create a jarring new form of art.
