In this article, Douglas M. Davis interviews electronic sculptor, James Seawright. Seawright addresses how his background as an engineering officer in the U.S Navy, stage technician for choreographer Alwin Nikolais, and instructor at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center has informed his work. He also elaborates on how he constructs his sculptures, and their significance as technological objects.
