"Crossing Lines, Building Bridges" is a catalogue essay introducing Crossing Lines: an Intercultural Dialogue, an exhibition curated by Srimoyee Mitra, which is located at the Glenhyrst Art Gallery in Brantford. Mitra compares South Asians to First Peoples, and their co-existence between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in Canada. Notions of discrimination and colonization are explored within the exhibition as each artwork is based on experiences of loss and displacement.
