Baert provides an introduction to the exhibition titled "Television Interference" by rephrasing artist Peter D'Agnostino's query: is access to telecommunications a priviledge or a right? The corporate structure of television is used a the departure point for many of the works in the exhibition and Baert applies a critical assessment to the development of "small-format" television technology and how various artists relate to the notion of interference.
