René Bauermeister discusses his own practice and presentations of video work. Bauermeister writes "I must first declare my interest in questioning the medium at the level of structure and function. This questioning is a determining factor, to the extent that the terms of investigation are "organically" linked to the electronic process". Considering video as a transparent medium creates a questioning for Bauermeister in the play between the mirror and reality.
