The exhibition programme for Queer City Cinema's annual festival of lesbian and gay independent Canadian film and video includes work by Bruce LaBruce, Allyson Mitchell, Dana Inkster, Roy Mitchell, and dozens more. The festival is divided by several themes, including relationships, community, bodies, sex, rites of passage, and the sacred. Queer City Cinema seeks to preserve 'difference' as an essential and defining characteristic of queer artistic vision and sensibility, and endeavours to insure that a broad spectrum of queer voices and expressions are represented and are given the place to be 'viewed' and discussed.
