Sweet 'n' Sour: Sugar 'n' Spice

by Holly Willis

Afterimage, May 1993, v. 20, no. 10, pp. 14-15

Holly Willis reviews an exhibition of work by thirteen emerging female artists, which she suggests contradicts expectations about "work by women." Willis spotlights the video art included in the exhibition, which include work about the limitations of taxonomy, stories of war, the body, private narratives, and projected videos that create three-dimentional video environments.
