Anuradha enumerates the efforts of Cendit, or Centre for Development of Instructional Technology, in "Development with Video". Based in India, Cendit has come a long way from its first video experiment in 1974. It has developed a number of video programs with the help of professionals, indigenous people, rural development workers, labour unions, women activists, environmentalists, health workers, etc. It has trained a number of groups and individuals in the use of video for development purposes. The videos produced concern issues of science, united action, education, technology, health, the environment, the status of women, etc.
