This is the catalogue for Corpus Loquendi/Body for Speaking, a 1994 exhibit of body-centred video in Halifax from 1972-1982. An introductory essay outlines a history of video art in Halifax and at NSCAD, in particular David Askevold's "Special Projects" class which featured instruction from international guest artists, and the founding of the Centre for Art Tapes (CFAT). Other included essays examine the body-centred themes of the tapes shown for exhibition.
