Daniel Barrow

The following article explores the work and process of media artist Daniel Barrow after he took home the well earned Sobey Art Award in November of 2010. Barrow works with various media using "manual" forms of animation through outdated technologies, specifically overhead projectors. With these techniques he has become most known for his performance pieces The Face of Everything and Everytime I See Your Picture I Cry Author Aaron W. Graham further investigates Barrow's inspiration of film and storytelling in his practice.
