In this article, Sam Gould, Gabiel Saloman, and Robby Herst, three artists belonging to the artist collective Red76, discuss the Vancouver screening of Red76's YouTube School for Social Politics. For the screening, each artist created a video essay from video clips found on YouTube, accompanied by an introduction created by the author. The artists discuss the screening in relation to subjects of new technology, social networking and social spaces, alienation, pop-culture, pop-academicism, and cultural theory.
