In this short interview, Sriwhana Spong discusses two of her video works: Costume for a Mourner and Halberd Head. Costume for a Mourner depicts dancer Benny Ord performing his own choreography to a piece from "Le Chant du Rossignol" while wearing Spong's reconstruction of the original costume designed by Matisse. Halberd Head was created by winding a canister of Super 8 film by hand, creating a film that shows the rhythm of her hands more than the artifacts she was filming.
