No More Potlucks, July 2011, no. 16
In this article, T.L. Cowan looks at the video-performance work of Dayna McLeod, which addresses experiences of queerness. McLeod's work involves cabaret, performance and video projection, with many references to pop culture icons such as Anne Murray,Mary Poppins and Anne of Green Gables. Cowan compares the unapologetic queerness of McLeod's work to the 'homonormative' version of queer sexuality present in the mainstream.
