In this interview, filmmaker Chris Vargas talks about his film and video work. Vargas talks about the process of creating his work, and how it comments on the representation of transgender people in the mainstream media as well as queer politics. Vargas also discusses how some of his work has intended to expose how many non-affluent LGBT people still face injustices, especially how transgender people are targeted by the police.
