Dayna McLeod interviews Dana Inkster about her experimental videos and television documentaries. Inkster's work primarily explores cultural representation and plays with expectations of narrative. Inkster also discusses her experiences as a queer black woman living in rural Alberta, and how that experiences has subverted her expectations of rural communities. Also discussed is Inkster's project The Art of Autobiography, how autobiographies function as self-portraiture.
