Toronto festival spotlights an indigenous new wave that's 'starting to crest'

Works to be shown at the First Peoples Festival: 1,500 Nations, One Tradition are named in this article, from the first native Samoan feature film, The Orator, to Zacharias Kunuk's well-known Fast Runner Trilogy. These pieces are said to be part of the "indigenous new wave" and each one will portray new ideals of aboriginal lifestyles.
