Tom Sherman looks at the dynamics and politics of artists working in communications technologies, i.e. video, computer, and telecommunication networks. These "uncharted territories" according to Sherman, bring out interesting relationships amongst artists, the art community, and the public as a whole. The methodology behind these areas of practice and the potential it has in art-making, is the objective of this piece.
