Poetico-Political Audio Visions
Public, 2002, v. 25, pp. 28-34
Lischi performs a critical analysis of video installations made by the Milanese group Studio Azzurro. She pays particular attention towards analyzing the ways in which the group's interactive strategies relate to the issues of fascism, trauma and memory. Their unique employment of interactivity, which eliminates the visibility of technological agency, according to Lischi, creates a connection between "ethics" and "aesthetics", thus allowing video to develop political and social utilization.
