Locus Suspectus: where the hidden comes to light
Artichoke, Spring 2005, v. 17, no. 1, pp. 32-35
Locus Suspectus...where the hidden comes to light was an exhibition of video works curated by Sandra Vida of Canada and Pauline Cummins of Ireland, which evolved from their participation in the Banff Centre’s 1992 artists residency The Instability of the Feminist Subject. The exhibition included thirteen video works focused on how women’s image of themselves- their status, their point of view, their identity, their social role, their sexuality, ability to take action in the world- had changed over the last three decades.
