Apichatpong Weerasethakul
New Art Publications, 2013, pp. 40-47
A conversation with Thai filmmaker and video artist Apichatpong Weersethakul, who discusses many of the dominant themes in his work, particularly the quality of time, which differs from film to video. Apichatpong claims that time in film is fixed and linear, whereas in video, time is fluid and controlled by the spectator. Apichatpong seeks to combine the two, with his installation pieces.
