Author Murray Whyte reviews Shary Boyle and Emily Vey Duke ten year collaboration culminating into the exhibition The Illuminations Project at Oakville Galleries. Boyle created the images while Vey Duke created the accompanying words. The loose narrative of the work is a dark fantasy that follows two fictional characters Bloodie and Peg Leg as they grow into young womanhood connecting to nature and the darker side of human nature.
