The Signs of Avant-Garde Cinema in Amateur Nonprofessional Cinema

This article is about the amateur cinema of Lithuania and the avant-garde aesthetics that the author argues predominate in these films. The author uses a combination of Derridean terminology and avant-garde theory from the mid-20th century to analyze the avant-garde aesthetics of the films, most of which date from around the 1980s. The article is written in Lithuanian, and appears on the page beside an English translation.
