An exhibition review of Nilbar Güreş work “Open Phone Booth.” The piece comprises of a series of photographs and a video installation based on a minority Kurdish village in the Eastern Anatolian region of Bingol, Turkey. Güreş documents the present inconveniences villagers face due to past clashes between Kurdish rebels and the Turkish military.
