Review of a group exhibition entitled "Comedie Concrete" in Tokyo. The theme of the exhibition was the art of doing in unexpected and inventive new ways. The title is derived from American artist David Robbins's idea of "Concrete Comedy," based on the concept that humor is found even in mundane places. Robbins' work is included in the show alongside other American artists and Japanese artists, who are represented by video, painting and ready-made pieces.
