Mink explores how Cecelia Condit uses fairy tale tropes and repetition to address issues of violence against women and "woman-becoming" focusing on three video works: Beneath the Skin (1981); Suburbs of Eden (1992); and Oh, Rapunzel (1996). Using Deleuze and Guattari to frame her argument, Mink suggests Condit offers a way to break the cycle of repetition through an invasion or disruption of the established power regime.
