Saskatchewan Gothic
ISBN/ISSN 6
Prairie Gothic is an exhibition that includes a group of Saskatchewan-based artists who have backgrounds in Indigenous culture and other national cultures, and who redefine the "prairie gothic" aesthetic. It is a sensibility derived from a harsh and alienating prairie landscape. These artists recognize prairie gothic's colonial origin and decide to expand it in the context of transnational realities.
