This review considers the 13th edition of the Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival, and particularly focusses on the way it has successfully combined a program featuring old and new works. The text mainly juxtaposes two works (Godard's Film Socialisme and Ahwesh's Verily! The Blackest Sea, the Falling Sky), and describes how both pieces strongly emphasize the sensory experience of film.
