The first part of article focuses mainly on Shu Lea Cheang's work Fresh Kill, also touching on her films and installations in detail. The second part is an interview between Lawrence Chu, Jessica Hagedorn, and Shu Lea Cheang ,and discusses Cheang's cinematic approach. Overall, through the film, Cheang's aim is to challenge normative and classical cinematic representations, creating a different reality that moves beyond the limitations of sexuality, gender, race, class, and capitalism through fictional issues and her novelistic narration.
