This edition of The Curatorial Incubator is the first major survey exhibition of Jorge Lozano's work, curated by Deborah Root.
Root has assembled an impressive collection of works from Lozano's three-decade long practice. Lozano is a mentor of youth experimental artists, conducts workshops in both Canada and Latin America, and is the founder of aluCine: Toronto film + media arts festival.
This exhibition of Lozano's works draws upon the distinction between human and spirit, and the ways spirits inhabit our bodies as a way of questioning our identities.
