James Diamond: Stepping Between Projections
James Diamond: Stepping Between Projections, 2010
Toronto: Vtape, 2010
James Diamond's work is described by curator, Ananya Ohri, as "like being invited into a movie theatre". His work is like being witness to the process of negotiation over eleven years, over meaning and meaning making. Diamond reflects on the body and the meaning of the body through interrupting projections of images with his own, seeking identity and an understanding of the process of creating identity.
