On June 11, 2020, the Canadian Art Magazine published a features article written by Bridget Moser about Lisa Smolkin.

In the article, Moser writes about her story of coming across Smolkin’s work at Doored, a Toronto-based performance-art show organized by the artist duo Life of a Craphead, where Smolkin continued to perform at. Moser interviewed Smolkin about how her background in art therapy has influenced her performance practice, and the materials she used in her performances. The article provides detailed descriptions of Smolkin’s works, “Life’s lil Bitch” and “Say "Hi"”.
