The curatorial statement within the catalogue reads: "...The definition of pornography, its so simple. It doesn’t carry the negative connotation unless one thinks of sexuality as negative. But pornography has taken on whatever sexual expression that a person dislikes. What is deemed as being obscene, degrading, objectifying is termed pornography... To take pornography back to its original meaning then becomes a political act and leap of faith on the part of the individual. To express oneself sexually in the art practice becomes a political act."
