This review explores the theme of art's role in society in three unrelated art events taking place in Vancouver during Frebruary and March 1981: a survey of 14 video documentaries entitled Less Medium, More Message presented at Video Inn, an exhibit of artist Marcia Pitch's drawings and scuptural pieces at the Artists Gallery entitled War Games, and Adrian Piper's It's Just Art performed at Western Front.
