This article is a review of a survey of Stan Douglas' multi-disciplinary work at the Vancouver Art Gallery, in which the author dicusses his piece, Win Place or Show, shot with four cameras and projected on two screens. Win Place or Show depicts the lives of two middle aged men trapped, restless and depressed in their modernist nightmare of a housing project that was never completed.
