DYKELANDS: Queer Art from the Fundy, curated by Lucas Morneau

SCREENING @ TEMPORAL ANCHORINGS on Tuesday June 11, 2024 from 7 – 9 p.m., Bus Stop Theatre Main Space, 2203 Gottingen St, Halifax / K’jipuktuk

Join us for a fun look at queer art made around Sackville and the Bay of Fundy during Temporal Anchorings: IMAA’s National Gathering. Framed by Colin Campbell’s seminal 1972 work Sackville, I’m Yours…., Dykelands explores the ebb and flow of gender expression, isolation, masquerade, and dreamworlds from 2SLGBTQIA+ artists working around the Bay of Fundy, pushing against the current like the Petitcodiac tidal bore. Featuring Colin Campbell, Xénia Gould, daze jefferies, Marissa Sean Cruz, and Amy Siegel.

Presented by Struts Gallery & Faucets Media Arts Centre (Sackville, NB)
