Jenn E Norton & Vtape Awarded at Hybrid Art Fair

Jenn E Norton‘s installation at this year’s Hybrid Art Fair in Madrid, presented by Vtape, has been selected as this year’s Best Exhibition!

Canadian media artist Jenn E Norton works with augmented reality and 3D animation, using time-based means to create immersive and experimental facilities, rethinking objects, landscapes, family activities, as well as fantastic and dreamlike events. Her installation work explores the blurred boundaries of virtual and physical realms, using interactive stereoscopic video, animation, sound, and kinetic sculpture. Recent national and international exhibitions include Ways of Something, curated and compiled by Lorna Mills, in Dreamlands: immersive cinema and art, 1905-2016, at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Norton is a candidate for a Ph.D. in Visual Arts at York University.

Hybrid Art Fair is a contemporary art fair in Madrid that just completed its fourth edition.
