This November, Madeleine Scott, Vtape’s Submissions and Distribution Coordinator, embarked on a new role at Mills Memorial Library at McMaster University as a Digitization Metadata Specialist.
Madeleine joined Vtape through a Young Canada Works position and has contributed to the organization in various capacities over the past five years, including digitization, database development, and distribution. Her dedication to the care and management of the collection has been invaluable.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Madeleine as she advances her archiving and collections management career. Her passion and expertise will undoubtedly continue to make a significant impact! We miss her already.

Aesop Hand Soap was made following the end of a relationship and is about gifts – the giving and receiving of them.
Madeleine Scott (b. 1993, Toronto) is interested in intermittency, ontologies of embodiment, and intrasubjective relations. Some of her areas of focus include systems of measurement of time, notation, and psychoanalysis.
Madeleine holds a BFA in Intermedia from NSCAD and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Archives from McGill University. Her work has been shown at Pleasure Dome Toronto; Pumice Raft, Toronto; CFAT, Halifax; Anna Leonowens Gallery, Halifax; Apartment Seven, Halifax; and Musique, Halifax. She lives and works in Toronto.
