THE CURATORIAL INCUBATOR: Call for Proposals

For March, the Vtape Video of the Month is why people be mad at me sometimes, by Mahlet Cuff, another new Vtape artist! Cuff’s video deals with Dancehall, cultural misappropriation, Maya Angelou, and Folklorama in a snappy musical critique. ⊕
March 12, 6:00 p.m.: Robert’s Paintings, by Shelley Niro
Join us Thursday, March 12th at 6:00 p.m. at the Bachir/Yerex Presentation space for a screening of Robert’s Paintings, Shelley Niro’s portrait of the artist Robert Houle. Just beforehand, at 5:30 p.m., curator Jesse King does a guided walk through the related City of Toronto Market Gallery exhibition SKY & BONE, on the first floor (suite 128), which features work by Houle.
